What do mini-organs (“organoids”) look like? How are they made and what can we use them for? And what does DNA actually look like? In this Radboud gesture you will get answers to these questions, and you can see real organoids under the microscope. We also have interactive sessions about the groundbreaking epigenetic research we do at RU. Children (and adults) can purify DNA and make it visible; this can be taken home! In addition, there is a stem cell game in which young and old learn what stem cells are and why they are so important in our body. You are most welcome with us this afternoon; we look forward meeting you!
For who?
Everyone; there are children's activities (isolation of DNA), but also cells can be viewed (mini-organs/organoids) and there are interactive sessions about our epigenetic research.
