Glocal Seminar – Transnational Care Arrangements

Dr Ferhan S. Palaz (Istanbul University–Cerrahpaşa, Department of Gerontology) will be visiting Dr Hanna Carlsson and our department from 15 to 19 June 2026 as part of an Erasmus+ teaching exchange. During her visit, she will participate in teaching and research exchanges, including supervision of a Master’s thesis, and will hold discussions with colleagues.
As part of her stay, she will deliver a Glocal seminar on Thursday 18 June 2026, hosted by Dr Hanna Carlsson. In this seminar, Dr Palaz will discuss how migrant families from Turkey in the Netherlands organise care across national borders, with a particular focus on the personal budget (PGB).
