Could you use some extra positivity? Or are you just in desperate need of a fresh hairstyle? During this unique event, you will not only get a free new hairstyle, but also a short break from the daily hustle and bustle.
At the Happy Hairdresser, you get more than just a haircut. While the hairdresser styles your hair, you chat with a fellow student about what gives you energy. No heavy conversations, just a positive, light-hearted moment for yourself. After an hour, you walk out with a fresh look, renewed energy and a unique and positive personal souvenir!
Practical information
The Happy Hairdresser will be open on Tuesday 10 February from 10:00 to 16:00 at the ROC, Campusbaan (next to CS), and on Thursday 12 February from 10:00 to 16:00 at Radboud University. The entire Happy Hairdresser treatment takes about an hour.
The Happy Hairdresser is for everyone, whether you have short, long, straight or curly hair. It is also important that you come with washed and towel-dried hair, so that the hairdresser can give you the best results and keep it as hygienic as possible for everyone.
This event is for and by students of ROC, HAN and RU and is co-organised by the CoLaboratory (NSHV study association) and City Deal Kennis Maken Nijmegen.

This activity is part of the Radboud Wellbeing Weeks. This year's theme is 'Pause, Play, Perform'. From 2 February until 13 February 2026 you can explore this theme in an accessible and creative way during lectures, workshops and other activities.
