Harry Piekema: How do you convey your powerful message?

Wednesday 11 February 2026, 7:30 pm - 9 pm

This event is in Dutch.

How do you really come across? How do you ensure that people understand you, remember you and feel what you mean?

Actor and communication expert Harry Piekema – known from television and a trainer for 20 years – takes you on an interactive journey full of insights that you can apply immediately.

“I am convinced that now more than ever, it is important to reach others on a personal level” – Harry Piekema

Harry has spent his entire life researching what motivates people. What happens in the body that moves so beautifully or so awkwardly when we speak? Why does one message feel powerful and another uncertain? How can you say what you really want to say with more relaxation, focus and confidence?

Harry's studies in acting and integral psychology led to his in-depth method for teaching others to say what they really want to say.

During this interactive lecture, Harry offers practical tools that you can immediately use in presentations, projects, conversations, pitches: basically anything where you take the floor.

Outside the spotlight of theatre, film and television, Harry Piekema is a communications consultant and trainer. His method focuses on body awareness to achieve optimal expressiveness and impact with the best tool you have: yourself.

This event is for students and employees of Radboud University, HAN, ROC and ‘groen, gezond en in beweging Nijmegen’.
