The law faculty is celebrating its 100th anniversary. In honour of this, the Grotius building will be transformed into a true festival ground on Friday 15 September 2023 during lustrum festival Lawlands.
The main stage will be placed outside the building, across from the entrance. There, from 16:00 to 23:00, we will raise the roof with performances by Jody Bernal, Danny Panadero, LIEN, JFV band Magna Charta and DJ Pucks. Between dancing, you can quench your hunger and thirst at the available bars and food trucks on the lawn. Inside the building, lecture hall GR 0.100 hosts cultural programming: Prof & Prof (Jeroen Rheinfeld & Bernard Schols) provide a theatre lecture (in Dutch) and there will be a pleading demonstration between some prominent lecturers, organised by Rota Carolina. In the hall, all of the legal study associations present themselves, each with their own stalls.
For whom?
All students, staff and young alumni (graduated less than five years ago) of the Nijmegen Law School are cordially invited. The festival is free of charge. Food and drinks during the festival can only be paid for with pin.
