Lecture: Cybercrime, by police East Netherlands (Dutch)

What does digitized criminality look like and what can you look out for yourself?

The Digital Expertise Department of the East Netherlands Police Department takes you into the world of cybercrime and digitized crime. What does this crime look like? What tricks do they use to steal your data or extort money from you?

On the basis of examples, 2 specialists of the police Oost-Nederland will take you into the working methods of criminals and the current risks. They see the large complex crime, but also the smaller cases that can have a great emotional impact. Cybercrime is increasing and constantly changing form. How do the police respond to this? But just as important; what can you watch out for yourself?

During the lecture, you will get concrete tips so you can better arm yourself against cybercrime. Afterwards, you will have the opportunity to talk about the lecture while enjoying a croquette sandwich. The police will also be present to answer any questions.
