Messy Painting with Perplex Nijmegen
Do you want to get out of your head and do something with your hands? Come and join our free Messy Painting session. On Thursday 28 September from 12:00 till 13:30, we will create a painting corner in the Refter where you can paint with your fingers, hands, toes (or just with paint brushes). This is a chance to let out your emotions, connect with other students, go crazy or discover your hidden talent.
Perplex is a student cafe in the city center of Nijmegen. If you are looking for new people to meet, a place to study or if you are looking for conversations about meaning of life: Perplex is the place for you! You can find more information here.
Tuesday 3 october | 12:00-13:30
Create a postcard for someone else
Do you know someone who deserves a kind gesture? Then come to Kunstof's community table on Tuesday, October 3 from 12:00 to 13:30 in the Refter (free walk-in). Meet and eat x Loneliness Awareness Dinner
Meet and Eat is a place where people come to get to know new people from different cultures through food and sharing a good time.
To raise awareness against loneliness, Meet and Eat will be hosting a night on the 4th of October with the theme “No one should feel alone’’. During this event we will be sharing a 3-course comfort food menu and have conversations to raise awareness about loneliness. You can sign up for this event via our weekly link on our socials for 2 euros per person. The sign up link is available from the 25th of September. This event will take place in the Student Chaplaincy.

Coloured Conversations
Being raised in between two cultures can provide a unique experience, but sometimes certain topics are off the table or even taboo. For instance in the relations with your parents and (religious) family, in love affairs and sexual orientation or participating in student associations.
You can find yourself in need to share your story with peers in a safe environment. The University Chaplaincy organises a monthly meeting group. You can find more information here.
Gezondeboel: self-help with online programmes
Radboud University offers you the opportunity to follow self-help programmes from Gezondeboel. This allows you to work on your health and wellbeing by yourself. There is also an online module on loneliness. The programmes are completely free of charge for Radboud University students. You can create an account here.

Join a student organisation
Studying is more than attending lectures. It is getting to know new people, developing yourself, moving out, and making the best of your time as a student. Visit activities, join a student organisation and/or dive into the pub. Find out what suits you!

Support from the university
Radboud University offers support to students whom, for whatever reason, need help to successfully complete their studies. Get advice from a member of our student support team, join a course or training, or take advantage of a regulation.
