At the Management Business Fair, you will have the chance to meet a variety of companies and organisations actively looking for new talent. Whether you are seeking your first job, a traineeship, an internship, or simply want to explore the job market: this is where you could meet your future employer!

During the fair, you can get to know 30 different organisations in an informal setting, discover vacancies, and expand your network. You can also get a professional LinkedIn photo taken. Don’t miss this opportunity to learn more about the possibilities for your future.

Are you curious about how best to prepare for the event? No worries, we have created a useful checklist to get you started! That way, you know exactly what you can do to be well prepared. We have also put together a helpful checklist to support you during the day itself and a checklist to get you started after the event!

Check out the organisations participating on this website and make a list of which organisations you want to look up.
Check out the organisations on the internet; their own website, their LinkedIn page, the company profile on the Radboud Career Platform.
See what vacancies they have open.
Prepare your questions.
Are you interested in an internship or permanent job? Make sure your cv is up to date. If necessary, make an appointment for a cv-check with a Career Officer.
Do you find it difficult to make contact with strangers? You can also make an appointment with a Career Officer for career and networking advice.

Checklist during the MBF

Have a look at the floor plan in advance to see where the most interesting organisations are located.
If a stand is quite busy, you can skip it and come back later.
Walk up to the recruiter and introduce yourself.
Mention that you are interested in their organisation/their vacancies or that you have questions.
Ask your questions and listen carefully to what the recruiters tell you. You can ask follow-up questions and show interest in the information that they are telling you. Did you get the opportunity to ask all your questions? Politely thank them for their time and effort and say your goodbyes.
Have you had an interesting conversation? Then ask if you can add them on LinkedIn or share other contact information. Make sure you have an up-to-date CV with you that you can hand over.
Thank them for their time before you leave.
Finding it very difficult to make contact? No problem, the Career Officers present at the fair can help you with this. You can find us at the information desk at the entrance of the fair. We are happy to help you!

Checklist after the MBF

Make a selection of the organisations you found most interesting
Make sure you follow these organisations on LinkedIn and on the Radboud Career Platform. That way, you will get the most recent vacancies in.
Have you noted down names of recruiters? Make a connection on LinkedIn. Always add a text like ‘Thanks for the nice conversation during the Management Business Fair, I would like to keep in touch’ or the like.
Are you going to apply for a job/internship? Then always refer in your letter to the interesting conversation during the Management Business Fair, or to a subject you discussed during the fair. This makes it easier for a recruiter to remember you.
A Career Officer can always proofread your letter, make an appointment for that.
