Historians Dries Lyna and Paul van der Linde organize this workshop with prof. dr. Nigel Worden (UCT) to bring together Dutch junior and senior researchers working on social histories of VOC territories in the Indian Ocean World. During the break Dr. Kate Ekama (Stellenbosch University) will present her new ‘Project 1834’ at a lunch seminar.
