During this SIG meeting, Mira Bruggeman will share her experiences as coordinator and teacher of the pilot course ‘Interdisciplinary Reflecting’. Mira Bruggeman will share her underlying big ideas, her personal learning experiences and insights. There will also be room for questions and dialogue.
This course was developed with subject teachers from Philosophy of Behavioural Sciences and students from AI and Pedagogical Sciences. Students applied reflection methods to delve into eco-social issues such as climate change, AI, social justice, pandemics and migration. The interactive course format resulted in a deeper understanding of their own discipline and a diversity of perspectives.
Afterwards, we will take a look at wishes, ideas and ambitions for next academic year (2024-2025).
