Meet-up SIG Sustainability

Thursday 15 January 2026, 3 pm - 4:30 pm

Content and goals of the SIG Sustainability

What is the role of the university in empowering learners and teachers to take informed decisions and responsible action in a changing, uncertain, and complex world? How can the university contribute and promote development that meets the needs of the present without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their own needs?

We as SIG Sustainability think it is key to take our responsibility as a higher education institution to nurture sustainable development. There is a momentum for sustainability at our university and we want to bring together all the people who are interested in and working on the topic. Staff and students need to develop ideas and competences that are highly relevant to today’s society, our environment, and the economy. This SIG provides the space and the place to join forces, share ideas, projects, ambitions, and connect with each other in a community of practice to work towards these goals.

More information about this meeting will follow later, so mark it in your agenda!

Be welcome!

SIG meetings are always open to everyone — whether you are joining for the first time or have been before. Each meeting offers space for new perspectives, fresh ideas and valuable exchanges. So feel free to join us, even if you are not yet familiar with the SIG!
