Meeting SIG Sustainability (02-05)

Thursday 2 May 2024, 3 pm - 4:30 pm

This Special Interest Group (SIG) focuses on questions revolving around the relationship between teaching, sustainability (defined as care for all forms of life), and sustainable development.

What is the role of the university in empowering learners and teachers to take informed decisions and responsible action in a changing, uncertain, and complex world? How can the university contribute and promote development that meets the needs of the present without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their own needs?

It is key to take our responsibility as a higher education institution to nurture sustainable development. There is a momentum for sustainability at our university and we want to bring together all the people who are interested in and working on the topic. Staff and students need to develop ideas and competences that are highly relevant to today’s society, our environment, and the economy.

This SIG provides the space and the place to join forces, share ideas, projects, ambitions, and connect with each other in a community of practice.

Registration
