If you have been living in Nijmegen for a couple of months now and want to share with fellow students how you are coping with the pressure that living and studying abroad can produce, you can join this interactive session.
In this workshop, you’ll explore the different phases of adjusting to a new environment. We’ll do this in an interactive way, using games and activities to help you recognize and share your experiences.
You’ll also receive practical tips: what to do if you’re struggling with something, and what kind of support the university can offer you.
Finally, you’ll meet Dutch students who have recently returned from their own exchanges abroad. They know what it’s like to live in a different culture and will share their stories, challenges, and strategies with you. This way, you’ll gain useful insights and tips on how to deal with cultural differences – and Dutch culture in particular.
