At the end of 2022, the tunnels in Lankforst and Malvert were painted by Johan Moorman. His beautiful design shows the history of the neighbourhoods and make the tunnels a real eye-catcher. Studio Kanaalzone is expanding on this with their Radboud Gesture.
Elements of his drawings will be 'hidden' in the intervening neighbourhoods. The murals thus form a kind of treasure hunt through the neighbourhood, for (young) residents to find. This way, they not only make the neighbourhood more beautiful, but also encourage activity. In addition, the paintings ensure a connection with the neighbourhood and a higher appreciation of the living environment.
