The University of Bonn and Radboud University are pleased to invite applications for the Joint Autumn School on Decision-Making, organised within the NeurotechEU alliance.
This one-week, in-person programme brings together students and researchers from across the NeurotechEU alliance to explore how decisions are shaped – from cognitive models and neural mechanisms to clinical conditions and ethical challenges.
What to expect?
Throughout the week, participants will engage with leading researchers and explore key questions such as:
- How can decisions be modelled and formally described?
- How do neural systems shape choice behaviour?
- How is decision-making altered in clinical conditions?
- What ethical challenges arise in decision-making?
Programme structure
The programme combines state-of-the-art research insights with interactive elements, providing space for discussion, exchange, and interdisciplinary learning

Speakers will come from four different NeurotechEU partner universities – namely, Radboud University, University of Bonn, University of Lille and Karolinska Institutet, and two universities outside NeurotechEU – namely, TU Darmstadt and Columbia University
