Modern computers consist of multiple processors that work together. This is called a parallel computer, and there are many different types. This PhD research investigates how we can write a single programme that can be executed on different parallel computers.
Thomas Koopman was born in 1998. He completed a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Mathematics in Utrecht from 2016 to 2022, and is currently pursuing a PhD in Computer Science within the Software Technology group at the Institute for Computing and Information Sciences (iCIS) from 2022 to 2026.
