Opening mathematics exhibition IMAGINARY

Mathematics is not just very useful, it’s also beautiful! That’s what the mathematics exhibition IMAGINARY will show. From 3 September onwards, the exhibition will be shown at Radboud University for three weeks. In addition to the exhibition, the department of Mathematics and Radboud Pre-University College (PUC) are hosting an extra programme with tours and lectures by Ricardo Cristoferi, Simon Pepin Lehalleur, Peter Hochs, Steffen Sagave and Sep Thijssen, among others. Sijbrand de Jong will open the exhibition on 3 September at 11 am and Prof. Ben Moonen will give a lecture on Escher and the mathematical imagination (the lecture will be in Dutch).
