Outro

Looking for your first job? The Outro offers short training and group sessions for (almost) graduates who want to get started together.

    General

This training is only offered in Dutch.

Are you an about-to-graduate or recent graduate and would you like to end your time at Radboud with a training course on finding a job? Then sign up for the mini outro on Thursday 28 August and start your next step with like-minded people.

During the outro, you will work with one or more graduates on finding a job. You will receive a short training session after which you will start working concretely with your outro group. Afterwards, we meet again for a training session, after which you choose whether and how often you continue working on the set goals in your outro group.

Please note: we assume that everyone takes care of their own drinks and food (there will be plenty of breaks in between).

Preparation: You are given an intake form a week before the training to make sure the training matches the participants' needs well. There is also an initial assignment on the theme of “self-knowledge”.

    Morning training (9.00-10.30 hrs)

    • Introduction and check-in
    • Getting started and planning
    • Forming outro group
    • Knowledge of the job market (including job search)
    • Networking and LinkedIn

    Group work (11.00 - 12.30 hrs)

At the end of the morning training, you will be given an assignment to work on independently. Within your outro group, you ask for and give feedback on the completed work. For example, you discuss your LinkedIn profile with each other and incorporate the feedback immediately. The assignment is tailored to your own learning needs.

    Afternoon training (13.15 - 15.00 hrs)

    • Short reflection group work: summary lessons learned
    • CV
    • Letter
    • Job interview
    • Closing

    And then ...

You can make appointments with your outro group to pick up the follow-up together. You can also schedule an appointment for a personal counselling session with your career officer.
