Participating in pilot new UTQ track academic year 2023-2024 Nijmegen School of Management

Thursday 1 June 2023, 8 pm
Want to get started with your UTQ track in the academic year 2023-2024? Sign up now.

The new working method will be developed in a number of ways during the pilot. That is why the number of lecturers who can participate from September 2023 onward is still limited. If you want to get started on obtaining your UTQ during the academic year 2023-2024, you are expected to sign up. Over the course of the academic year 2023-2024, we hope to gradually increase the participation possibilities, so that all lecturers for who participation is fitting can get started. We also expect to make the final decisions about what the new working method looks like in early 2024.

In the new working method, based on the agreements you made during the intake, you will start developing your UTQ competence domain. You will be supervised by a UTQ coach and a supervisor/mentor from your own faculty. The aim is for you to complete at least one competency domain during the pilot year and, if possible, more.

The deadline for signing up is Thursday 1 June.

When are you eligible to participate?

  • You are a lecturer and will be gaining teaching experience in the coming academic year that matches at least two UTQ competence domains. Or you are a PhD student with a distinct educational role in the coming academic year that matches the competence domain 'teaching' or 'supervising students' in terms of experience.
  • Your supervisor (or programme director) approves your participation in the pilot.
  • You can cope well with the fact that during the pilot phase, the approach is still in development and, as a result, there will sometimes be uncertainties about the approach or route.
