Prize for the RIS Winter Intro 2025 is yet to be determined. To give you an indication, ticket prize was 90 Euro in 2025. Students starting in the second semester will receive a personal invitation via email to the event. Please note that there is only a limited availability, so if your want to join respond to the email immediately by buying a ticket!
Below find the preliminary programme of the RIS Winter Intro Week for international exchange and (pre)-Master's students in semester 2. Do not worry about missing classes as we have scheduled our activities during the breaks or in the afternoon/evening. We will update the programme as soon as more information is available.
The Radboud Intro will start off at the Gymnasion
Find out how to get to the Radboud University campus, where you can register and pick up the keys to your accommodation. This info will be updated as soon as possible.
If you have reserved a bike at Student Mobility, you can pick it up today between 10.00-16.00 at the Linnaeus square.
The faculty coordinators will invite the exchange students by email for this meeting. Some will also invite the (pre) -Master's students to these meetings. Please contact your Faculty International Office for more details.

There is no central welcome meeting for exchange students of Radboudumc!
The Faculty of Medical Sciences invites all exchange students for an individual intake meeting, as they all start at different dates in the year. Therefore, there is no faculty-wide introduction meeting like the other faculties. If you are starting your exchange with RadboudUmc in this semester and have not yet received an invitation for an individual intake meeting, please reach out to Internationalofficestudents [at] radboudumc.nl (Internationalofficestudents[at]radboudumc[dot]nl).

The Refter, the biggest restaurant on campus, has six food counters each have their own theme, with a unique ambiance and product range.
Tonight they will introduce you to some of the dishes they have to offer
You will be able to get to know you mentor group better while enjoying this nice meal.

Tonight the Radboud Wellbeing team will offer a fun activity on campus. Participation is limited so registration is needed. What exactly will organised will be announced later.
Your mentors will now show you the campus and tell you about all its important spots, their own favorite places and what else it has to offer.
You will be formally welcomed by RIS and Student Life and International Mobility. We will start the lecture with a small introduction to the international Class room and the effects it can have on you. We will also give you loads of practical information about how to give your life in Nijmegen the best start ever.
We will also introduce you to the activities ESN Nijmegen, the Student Chaplaincy and Meet and Eat organise We will also explain what Student Support can do for you.

On campus you will play the famous RIS pub quiz in smaller groups with your fellow students in one of the two great pubs we have on campus.
So join us and win fabulous prizes and eternal fame to become the 2025 RIS Pub Quiz champions.

We will give you a tour in the central library and explain to you how it works and what you can find there.
We will all have a (vegetarian) burger dinner in shifts, which will be followed by our very own talent show: RIS got Talent, so show us your best moves, site a poem, perform magic tricks or whatever you can think of with your mentor group.

ESN Nijmegen will organise a party for all new students
While playing the city game, you will get a chance to get to know your new home town.
The winners will be announced at De Waagh, where we will meet for the closing event.
For all international non-EEA students the Visa team organises an online Q&A.
