July 18: Kidslab at Mariënburgplein
Mariënburgplein will once again be transformed into a laboratory for children. On Saturday, July 18, you can participate in all kinds of experiments led by Radboud scientists. Program a robot, print your name in 3D, discover gravity, learn about your carbon footprint, play with loose parts, and learn to sort waste like a pro!
Radboud @ Stadseiland Stek Program
Every evening, you can visit Stadseiland Stek for a lecture by researchers from Radboud University on topics such as nature along the Four Days Marches route and the history of Nijmegen. In short, accessible lectures of about twenty minutes, you can listen to interesting stories from our scientists while enjoying a snack and a drink.
From Saturday, July 18 through Wednesday, July 22, there will be a speaker from Radboud University at Stadseiland Stek every day at 5:45 PM. In addition, on Saturday, July 18, Monday, July 20, and Tuesday, July 21, from 2:15 PM to 2:45 PM, there will be a special program for children: during the Professor’s Lab, kids can ask researchers all sorts of questions.

Stadseiland Stek is a Vierdaagsfeesten festival on Eiland Veur Lent. The best way to reach Veur Lent is by bike or on foot via the Nijmegen railway bridge or the old Waal Bridge.
