Re/Presenting Europe Annual Meeting

Thursday 16 May 2024, 3 pm - Friday 17 May 2024, 5 pm

The yearly meeting of the Re/Presenting Europe research consortium takes place the 16th and 17th of May. Re/Presenting Europe is an NWO-funded research project that studies the history and present of Europe through the lens of (postcolonial) migration and diversity. On the 16th and 17th of May, there will be several events to showcase the research and societal engagement that the project has been engaged in.

On the 16th of May, there will be hip-hop, breakdancing, and BMX performances on Erasmusplein. This will be followed by a panel discussion with performers and researchers.

On the 17th of May, we will be screening the film Zwarte Ibis, and we will host lectures by Kevin Hylton (Leeds Beckett University) and Melanie Acosta (Florida Atlantic University).

Both days are open to everyone, so feel free to join us. Registration is not necessary. Click here for more information.
