Ever since her utterly unique debut album Ze Willen Wel Je Hond Aaien, Maar Niet Met Je Praten (2008), Dutch singer-songwriter Roos Rebergen has managed to express the simple things of life sublimely, and vice versa.
Thursday 20 October en Saturday 21 October
Roos Rebergen
In September, Roos gave birth to her second child and new music was released in October. In Mandola, she outlines the desire to become a better version of herself, but the road towards it runs along a bumpy track, as there are always fears and insecurities in the way. The song Arme Slechterik centres on the question of why we are always so drawn to darkness, a theme that also surfaces in the stark "'Ik heb je rug". The new album "Zomer in Nederland" is Roosbeef's fifth studio album and was released on 20 January 2023.
Radboud Art & Science Festival
This event is part of Radboud Art & Science. On 19, 20 and 21 October, immerse yourself in the world of art and science on the university campus.
Let yourself be transported to the past through music, film, and dance. Walk past photo exhibitions, light installations and visual art that give you a unique perspective of the campus. There will also be live concerts, performances, and interactive performances in unexpected places. In doing so, we delve into the university's heritage, history and day-to-day operations, and explore the stories of students, researchers and other staff.
Entrance to Radboud Art & Science is free and everyone is welcome. Will you be there?
