RYA Workflow Workshop

Wednesday 21 January 2026, 2 pm - 5 pm

Working in an academic environment, we can often feel like our day-to-day workflow is conquered by emails, administrative tasks, or similar things that jump onto your desk daily without warning.

How do we keep a balance between the daily tasks and our bigger projects? How should we prioritize urgent administrative matters and research or teaching: Should we first make our inbox sparkly clean, or should we dive head-first into the paper we are currently writing?

In this informal Radboud Young Academy workshop, we will draw on our joint experiences and practices, compare personal strategies, and distil approaches and tools. We will offer a conceptual structure, the “workflow machine”, to guide us in collating, prioritizing, scheduling, and ultimately executing our tasks.

Sign up now if you’d like to learn from others or share your way of working!

Spaces are limited and are distributed on a first-come-first-serve basis.
