Show & Tell: How students use AI in their studies

Monday 15 June 2026, 12:15 pm - 1:15 pm

During this Show & Tell, students will demonstrate how they are making smart use of AI in their studies – not to cheat, but to accelerate and deepen their learning process. Organising their work, creating practice exercises, and asking for concrete examples when dealing with more complex material: these are just a few of the ways in which AI is being used.

Three students share their experiences: Pia van der Schaft (History and writing coach at the Radboud Writing Lab), Casper Algera (Mathematics) and Jens Vermeeren (Communication Science). Each of them explains, from their own perspective, how AI is affecting their studies and what opportunities and dilemmas this entails.

The event provides an opportunity for an open and honest discussion about the role of AI in education and invites lecturers to contribute their thoughts on what this means for assessment, learning objectives and curriculum design.
