This year marks a special milestone: the 20th edition of the sIMMposium, the annual internal symposium of the Institute for Molecules and Materials (IMM) at Radboud University.
We’re preparing an inspiring program featuring a diverse lineup of speakers from inside and outside the IMM. Through plenary and parallel sessions, we’ll explore a wide range of research topics and reflect on 20 years of groundbreaking research at the IMM.
A highlight of this anniversary edition is the very first presentation of the Roeland Nolte Medal*, followed by a talk from the medal’s inaugural winner — a moment you do not want to miss.
Be sure to mark this date in your calendar. More details will follow soon.

*About the Roeland Nolte Medal
The Roeland Nolte Medal honors the scientific legacy of Professor Roeland J. M. Nolte, a pioneer of supramolecular and macromolecular chemistry and a passionate advocate of scientific collaboration, synergy, and the crossing of disciplinary boundaries.
The medal recognizes outstanding chemists working at the frontiers of chemistry, particularly at its interfaces with biology and physics. Awarded annually to a scientist under the age of 55, the Roeland Nolte Medal celebrates original, daring, and creative research that opens new directions in chemistry, stimulates interdisciplinary collaboration, and inspires the next generation of molecular scientists.
