Sharing experiences: Authentic assessment (EN)

Our new Assessment Policy framework emphasizes the importance of authentic assessment, which address real-world questions and challenges encountered in workplace settings. In this session, three teachers will share their alternative form of assessment, moving beyond traditional methods. After the short presentations there will be an opportunity for questions and an open discussion.

During the workshop, you will learn how to give effective feedback on writing products and we will show how students can independently improve their writing skills via The Write Space's online modules.

Effectiever toetsen en feedback geven met ANS (NL)

Do you sometimes doubt the usefulness and quality of your exams? Looking for ways to give individual feedback, despite the large group of students? Curious about the possibilities offered by the new testing software (ANS)? In this session, Sander Bisselink (Orthopedagogics) talks about his course, where students do not receive a grade, but an automated, individual feedback report after the multiple-choice exam. Floris Verheul (Examination team) explains how to improve the quality of your questions, and how the different question types and psychometric analyses in ANS can help you do so.
