Soil fauna field trip

Thursday 18 June 2026, 12:30 pm - 1:30 pm
What’s going on beneath our feet?

Life in the soil can be a hidden world, but if you look closely, there’s plenty of life to be seen. Curious to find out what we can discover on the Radboud campus? Then come along to the soil fauna excursion in the Tiny Forest. Over the course of an hour, we’ll identify different species, and guide Joren Bruggink will explain all about the soil life on our campus.

This excursion is being held as part of the Biodiversity Challenge, during which we will try to spot and record as many plants and animals on campus as possible.

Location: The excursion starts at the rear entrance of the Huygens Building. From there, we’ll walk to the Tiny Forest.
Time: 12.30 pm to 1.30 pm at the latest
Languages: Dutch and English on request
