On Tuesday 3 June 2025, Martyna Stećko gives a presentation on her PhD research.
Her research examines the effects of the EU's external climate action through the use of trade instruments in developing countries. Using four case studies, it draws a comparison between the use of bilateral and unilateral trade measures with regards to their implementation and results. Ultimately, it aims to shed light on factors which may promote or inhibit climate action through trade instruments between the EU and developing countries.
