We would like to invite our entire academic community to take part in the symposium Future-proof Participation on 11 October 2024. This symposium will be organised as a kick-off of the WHW-project. Members of the university participational bodies have already received a personal invitation by e-mail.
Programme
During the symposium, we want to jointly explore the frameworks for this project. The symposium will focus on the importance of a strong and future-proof participation system, the purpose of participation, the current set-up of our participation system and the way forward. For those who are less or not very familiar with the topic, the symposium is also a great opportunity to make the subject matter a little more familiar. There will also be a panel discussion with various experts on specific topics concerning participation, such as the relationship between participation and co-determination, manners and the special nature of our university. Furthermore, the symposium offers the opportunity to meet members of the participational bodies with whom the project team will exchange views on the participation system in the coming months.
Location: The symposium takes place in Theaterzaal C of the Elinor Ostrom building.
- 12:45 : Walk-in, incl. coffee, tea and refreshments

- 16:30-18:00 : Closing drinks in the Curltuurcafé
