The Education Café is the place to catch up with colleagues once a month on Thursday afternoons about relevant, fun, stimulating and inspiring education topics. In September, a student and a teacher talk about their experiences during the 'Student-follows-teacher' project.
The project ran during February and March 2024 in which nine students were each paired with a lecturer. In many cases, this was a "cross-faculty" match. The lecturers allowed the students to watch their lesson preparations and lectures and the students gave them feedback on these. This gave the lecturers insight into their lectures from a student perspective and students could give really targeted feedback on the teaching as well as getting a better idea of the teaching profession.
In the Education Café of September, two participants of the project will tell about their experiences.
