A lot of young people suffer from stress-related complaints and burnout. This causes dropout and a lot of personal suffering. Also, among medical school students. To reduce these complaints and improve student wellbeing, Marjolein van de Pol, together with colleagues in the curriculum, set up an ongoing educational programme on wellbeing and vitality for all students. Each part of the programme is useful in its own way and provides students with concrete tools and insights. The education programme as a coherent whole provides students with building blocks with which they can positively influence their well-being in a sustainable way.
On 29 June 2023, Marjolein and her colleagues received the second prize of the Education Premium 2023. Join us for lunch and help us reflecting on how this successful learning line can be applied in other courses.
Lunch with an inspirational boost
Comenius grants and TLC vouchers make it possible for lecturers at Radboud University and the Radboudumc to develop all sorts of interesting educational innovations. But it is a pity if only students see the result of all that hard work. And sometimes these innovative lecturers can still use some practical help, a networking contact, or a fresh idea to overcome an obstacle, or to make their innovation more broadly applicable.
That is why the Radboud Teaching and Learning Centre is organising the TLC Innovation Lunch every first Monday of the month. Lecturers, educational support workers, and other interested parties can meet each other here to let themselves be inspired by a Radboud colleague's innovative project and have a tasty meal in the meantime.
