Within the Faculty of Social Sciences, philosophy education is mainly organised per programme, which limits coherence and interdisciplinary exchange. During this innovation lunch, Mira Bruggeman will talk about her innovation voucher project: the development of a faculty-wide philosophy course for third-year students.
In this course, students and lecturers work together on current eco-social issues and explore different philosophical and disciplinary perspectives. In this way, students learn to look beyond the boundaries of their own programme and to critically reflect on their professional role.
Come and listen, and be inspired by this interdisciplinary approach to teaching philosophy.
Lunch with an inspiration shot
The Radboud Teaching and Learning Centre organises the TLC Innovation Lunch every first Monday of the month to share innovative projects and results more widely. Here, lecturers, teaching support staff and other interested parties meet to be inspired by an innovative project of a Radboud colleague.
