We are excited to invite the Radboud community to an interactive lunch seminar where we will critically reflect on the role of science and scientists in international biodiversity and climate organisations. This event will explore how scientific knowledge interacts with international policy-making and whether it is ultimately serving society. We will focus on key global science-policy bodies (the IPCC, IPBES) and COP/UNFCCC as examples, taking a critical look at how evidence is produced, negotiated, framed, and implemented.
Three researchers from the RCSC community who are active participants and attendees at the UNFCCC COP, the IPBES and the NEXUS assessment will share their expertise, experience and insights.
