Dolly Verhoeven (1959) was professor by special appointment of Gelderland's history at Radboud University from November 2014 to December 2024. In those ten years, she gave numerous lectures and readings, organised heritage festivals and historical cafés, advised museums and historical societies and initiated several book projects, including the four-volume Verhaal van Gelderland, published in 2022.
