Millions of people upload videos daily on any possible subject. But why is one video informative and entertaining while another is forgotten immediately? Making an effective video is a structured process of design, creativity, and technique.
In this practical module, you will be working in a group on a short video clip of 3 minutes. You will learn how to transform an initial idea in a concrete video. In this module we go though all the necessary steps of making a video clip. Choosing a suitable subject, making a mood board, making a story board and working with scripts.
Of course we will also dive into the technical aspects. You will learn the basics of editing and composition. We will also be discussing the different styles of video and how they relate to their content. Next to the central group video assignments there will be individual assignments as well.
