Week of the International Student

During the MultiSportsDay, various clinics of Paralympic sports and other adapted sports will be given. The day is for everyone aged 12 and over, but younger brothers or sisters are of course welcome to come along and try out different sports. In addition, various sports providers and foundations will be present to inform you about the possibilities to continue playing sports.

An Overview of a Fairytale Writing Workshop 
Fairytales are stories that transport us to magical worlds. They teach us about love, loss, evil and more. Therefore, at this workshop we will be looking at the various parts of a fairytale such as story, character, place, and topic. We will also practice writing our own fairytales, creating new worlds and characters with our biggest treasure – imagination. However, this session’s main goal is not creating the most fascinating fairytale, but it is more about a journey of self-discovery. By writing we will connect with our inner child. It's the part of us that believes in magic and has huge dreams. Connecting with your inner child is a powerful way to improve your emotional and psychological well-being. It can assist you in healing from the past, living in the present, and creating a better tomorrow for yourself, letting yourself be a child again and dream BIG.

Singing relaxes and connects us; in short, it has everything needed to boost your well-being and offer comfort.

In this short workshop, we’ll sing a few well-known and lesser-known meditative chants. No singing experience is required—it's all about singing together and “catching your breath.”

Not sure yet which job you want after graduation or which Master’s programme to choose? In this workshop you will gain valuable insight into your process of choosing. Free poffertjes and having fun together! Come and eat this Dutch classic with us and feel free to join our small activities with the theme ‘international food’.

We will be making poffertjes (small pancakes), there will be a small quiz (with a prize for the winner!) and some other small and fun activities. This event is a small taste of our bigger event taking place on the 11^th of December. Our goal is to get a better connection between International and Dutch youth.

Feel welcome to come and eat a small bite and who knows maybe meet some new people around our campus!

Are you an international student thinking about working alongside your studies? Not sure about the legalities of working in the Netherlands?

Then attend the info session hosted by Radboud University and HAN University of Applied Sciences where you learn all the ins and outs about employment rules and regulations.

We will guide you through topics like work eligibility, work permits, insurance, and the possible consequences of illegal work. But also on how to get started, how to prepare for and what to expect from the labour market.

Recruit a student is also there to shine a light on what they can do for you as an intermediate and what services they offer international students when it comes to getting employed.
