This lecture is in Dutch.
Saint Radboud is the patron saint of Nijmegen University, which has borne his name since 2004. Not much is known about Radboud. The main source on his life is a medieval saint's life in Latin. Vincent Hunink, one of the translators of that medieval 'biography', presents that text during this lecture in the Sint-Nicolaaskapel. This will show who Radboud was, and why the university was named after him.
Free entrance, no need to register.
This Radboud Gesture is organised together with Valkhofstichting.
