Who is this course for?
Many students don’t have a clear and strategic plan of action. They are used to “learning for the exam”. For some this means that they procrastinate at first and finally work real hard as the exam draws closer. Others work hard from the get go and try to keep up with everything because they feel that anything can be asked on the exam. Both strategies have their problems but foremost both types of students are very focused on the exam itself. And that isn’t very strategic at all.
What will you learn?
You will learn to find the logic of a course and to use this logic to study more strategically. The main focus will lie on being more strategic with your time and with your activities. It’s not about working hard and doing a lot. It isn’t even about the exam! It’s more important to find out how a subject is structured and why it is structured that way. Only then can a student distinguish main issues from minor ones and make the connections necessary to pass their courses.
