Our research into value-driven AI and digitisation combines technical innovations with insights from psychology, neuroscience, governance and management sciences, ethics and law. This gives us unique expertise at the intersection of technology and values, enabling us to make AI applications truly meaningful for society.
We excel in neuromorphic computing, medical image analysis and AI applications in education, and collaborate with partners in, among others, the AI for Energy Grids Lab, the Semiconductor Manufacturing Lab, the Big Chemistry Robot Lab, the SME Data Lab, iHub, the ICAI health labs and NOLAI. By connecting our initiatives and lines of research in a single network, we are strengthening our AI research and education and further building on our role as a guide and discussion partner in national and international AI developments.
With unique expertise in the technical, social, legal and ethical application of AI, Radboud has chosen value-driven AI and digitisation as its defining theme. This allows us to bring disciplines together and increase our social impact.
