100 years of Radboud University

On 17 October 2023, Radboud University will celebrate its 100th anniversary. For 100 years we have been making an impact with our research and education, and this is only the beginning. Our lustrum therefore has the theme 'A significant impact'. To commemorate the milestone of 100 years of Radboud University, we are organising several lustrum activities, especially in May and October 2023. You don't want to miss this, so make a note of it in your agenda.

May 2023

In the week of 8 to 14 May 2023, we will organise a festive week with activities for all sorts of target groups. These include a gala dinner, a project with primary schools and a science festival in Doornroosje. The big party is Radboud XL: a festival on our own campus.

October 2023

On 17 October 2023, the Dies celebration takes place and the rest of that week we have a full programme too. We will be appointing honorary doctorates from every faculty and through various programmes we will pay attention to them. Also, there will be cultural activities.

And more...

That is not all, of course. In the run-up to the lustrum, for instance, several publications will appear and we will organise exhibitions. Finally, based on the theme ‘A significant impact’, we are developing a gift to the city of Nijmegen and its inhabitants, together with our partners such as the municipality and province.
