A history in images
Journalists Paul van den Broek and Bea Ros chose an original angle for their historiography of 100 years of Radboud University. From each year, from 1923 to 2023, they selected one contemporary image as the starting point for a story. Then they not only delved into the archives, but also conducted interviews with eyewitnesses, relatives, colleagues, students or with the depicted protagonists.
Living university
In a kaleidoscope of one hundred and one images and stories, Nijmegen University comes to life. The authors do not merely look back, but emphatically connect events from the past with the present. They show the university as a dynamic community of scientists and students, of people in development, with questions, ambitions and dreams.
