A solid 9 for internationalisation: Radboud's Erasmus+ programme once again receives very positive assessment

If you score 92 out of 100 points in an assessment, you can safely call that “very good”. And that is exactly what the National Agency Erasmus+ does in its recent evaluation of the Erasmus+ programme at Radboud University. Erasmus+ makes international experiences possible for both students and staff with the help of grants.

Internationalisation is an important part of Radboud University's mission and vision. The Erasmus+ programme, an initiative of the European Commission, plays a crucial role in this. The programme was recently assessed by the Erasmus+ National Agency. This evaluation concerned exchanges within Europe in the academic years 2023-2024 and 2024-2025.

More exchanges, new initiatives

The results of the evaluation are very positive. The number of exchanges has increased compared to previous years. In addition, there is praise for the focus on inclusion: extra resources have been allocated to participants with disabilities or who face economic barriers. Praise was also given to new initiatives such as the social safety consent workshop and The Loneliness Awareness Week, which enhance the well-being and support of students. PhD students and staff also highly appreciate the programme and the support it provides.
