Our alumnus Silvio Erkens has been nominated as Junior Minister ('staatssecretaris") for Agriculture, Fisheries, Food Security and Nature. After completing his bachelor's degree in political science in Nijmegen, Silvio obtained an MSc from the LSE in London and an MBA from Columbia University, New York – but he remains in contact with his alma mater, as evidenced by the series of articles he published with Prof. Marcel Wissenburg in 2022-2023 on a new and more ambitious energy and climate policy.
