Are you working or studying during the next few days? Take measures against the heat

On Monday 18 and Tuesday 19 July it will be exceptionally warm. Therefore, the National Heat Plan is in effect and code orange applies from Tuesday.

The heat plan is a warning about heat and the risks it can entail, and a call to pay extra attention to each other. For more information about the measures you can take, visit the RIVM website.

Measures

If you are working in the coming days, protect yourself well. The Dutch government advises a number of measures to prevent heat congestion in the workplace.

Cooler buildings

If you work on campus you can move to one of the cooler buildings, such as the Grotius Building, the University Library, the Spinoza Building, the Erasmus Building and the Elinor Omstrom Building. Students can use any of the study workstations on campus.
