Prof. dr. Beatrice van der Heijden, professor of strategic HRM, has received four prestigious awards at Academy of Management (AOM) conference in Chicago.
Four awards
During the congress, prof. van der Heijden was awarded the following awards:
- Finalist for the Michael Driver Best Symposium Award: For the symposium she organised 'Innovating for the Future of Careers: Innovative Pathways for Researching Sustainable Careers', together with co-organisers De Vos and Akkermans.
- Best Doctoral Student Paper Award: Together with her PhD student Annemiek van der Schaft and co-authors Lub, Solinger, Van Olffen, Lub and Ruotsalainen, Van der Heijden received this award in the Organisation Development & Change (ODC) Division for the paper 'Are They Loyal Rebels? Change Recipients‘ Role Taking Reflected in Storied Experiences’.
- Best International/Comparative Conference Paper Runner-Up Award: This research, entitled ‘The Effect of Red Tape on Employability Competences of Teachers’, in collaboration with its co-authors Muylaert, Decramer and Audenaert, was recognised by the Public and Nonprofit Division of the AOM.
- Best Reviewer Award: Beatrice van der Heijden also received the 2024 Best Reviewer Award from the Career Division of the AOM for her exceptional work as a reviewer of scientific papers.
New role at TKI Dinalog
In addition to these exceptional academic achievements, prof. dr. Van der Heijden has been appointed board member of TKI Dinalog, the Top Consortium for Knowledge and Innovation for the Top Sector Logistics. In this role, she will represent the Netherlands Organisation for Scientific Research (NWO) and contribute to the connection between science and business in the logistics sector. Her human capital expertise and experience in transdisciplinary collaboration will be of great value to this board.
