As a Student Ambassador of the Faculty of Arts, you are an on-call employee for various recruitment and information events for your study programme. This job is non-committal and flexible. You will receive a fair pay, which varies per activity. We are looking for Student Ambassadors for the following activities:
Ambassador at the Open Days
As an ambassador at one of our Open Days, you will help prospective students find their way on our campus and support staff with the organisation of this event. You might be approached to help set up a stand, prepare a room for a presentation, or answer questions about your study programme at the information market. The Open Days take place in November and March.
Ambassador for the Experience Days (Proefstuderen)
During the Experience Day, prospective students can follow a special programme of lectures, information sessions and campus tours. This way, they will receive additional information on the programme outline and find out more about our campus and the life of a student at Radboud University. As an ambassador at an Experience Day, you will guide these prospective students around our campus, answer their questions and support staff with the general organisation of this day. The Experience Days take place in December and April.
Student-for-a-day (Dagje Meelopen)
During a student-for-a-day experience, you will show prospective students what a day in the life of a first-year student looks like. They will join you in your classes to get a taste of the study programme. You will also show them our faculty and answer their questions about your study programme. To become a student for a day mentor, you should be studying in your first year.
Unibuddy Chat
As a Unibuddy, you answer questions that prospective students have asked via the programme website. You will install a chat app on your phone, with which you can get into contact with them in an approachable way. It only takes a couple of hours per month and you are free to schedule your own time.
Domain information (Domeinvoorlichting)
As a presenter for Domeinvoorlichting you visit secondary schools in the Netherlands to give a presentation and answer questions about a certain domain or cluster of study programmes. In the presentation, you discuss multiple study programmes using an overarching theme. This allows the secondary school students to learn more about the overlap and differences between the study programmes. You will of course be matched with the overarching domain of your study direction. Please note that you need to speak Dutch at a (near-)native proficiency in order to be a Domeinvoorlichting presenter. We also recommend that you apply for this position from your second study year onwards.

Do you like to be in front of the camera and would you like to show prospective students what life at Radboud University looks like? We are looking for students who want to help with (online) activities, such as being in our videos (e.g., Instagram Reels, YouTube, etc.), writing something for a testimonial or brochure, giving your opinion about our websites, and more!
