Two former Geography master's students Selma Blanken and Eline van Oosterhout, together with associate professor Joris Schapendonk, have developed a unique sound project on borders and migration.
The project aims to connect Geography, Planning and Environment students with the field of Media, Arts & Culture, with a special focus on migration. Besides developing some workshops and an internship programme for students, they have developed a soundscape that explores borders and migration. The soundscape will inspire you to new insights into the complex topic of migration. The sound project ‘Bring me beyond the border is’ part of the project ‘Moving On: Creating Careers through Creative Knowledge Networks on Migration’ and was funded by the Rubel Fund.
