Cas Coopmans defended his thesis

On 29 March 2023, Cas Coopmans defended his thesis titled ‘Triangles in the brain: The role of hierarchical structure in language use’.

With his research on how hierarchically structured (syntactic) representations are inferred from linearly structured, word-by-word language input, Cas obtained the title of doctor cum laude. We want to congratulate Cas with this remarkable achievement and wish him the best of luck with his future endeavours!
