The exemption for students with a German residential address will be withdrawn. From now on, they will also pay €30 per month if they wish to use a parking subscription. Tenants at the Science Park and contractors with a contract will also pay €30 from 1 July 2026. For non-residents, the rate will be €60 per month.

Subscribers with a known email address have already been informed of this price change by email. This news item is intended for subscribers without a known email address and for anyone considering taking out a parking subscription.
Are you a subscription holder and would you like to continue using the on-campus parking facilities with a subscription? If so, you don’t need to do anything. The parking subscription fee will be automatically adjusted from 1 July 2026 and charged via payroll or direct debit. The new amount will be debited for the first time in August.
Of course, you can also cancel your subscription. Would you like the cancellation to take effect from 1 July? If so, please do this before 1 June 2026 via Self-service on our website, as the notice period is one calendar month. The parking management team will then ensure that your subscription is terminated on time. You can also take out or change a subscription via Self-service

When is a parking subscription worth it?
The standard rate for parking your car on campus is a maximum of €14.50 per day (as of 1 April 2026). Do you park on campus for an average of three days or more per month? If so, you’ll save money with the new subscription rate. (For non-university members, this is 4.5 days or more per month to save money.)
